A to Z Reflections

survivor-atoz [2014] A-to-Z Reflection [2014]

I survived! It’s a bittersweet end. It was a lot of fun, but wow, posting every day is hard! My goal was to have a post and a drawing for each day. I started off with lots of ideas for my mental health theme but started running out of steam towards the end. X, Y and Z were brutal, but I came up with something and linked it to mental health…sort of, lol. πŸ™‚ I think I’m going to miss having the prompts in the end. What am I going to post now? lol.

It was a last minute decision to join the challenge, but I am so glad I did. Overall, it was a great experience. The best part? Meeting new people and discovering new blogs to follow. I think I’ve met a few kindred spirits and look forward to having some real friendships develop. Thank you to everyone organizing this event, brilliant idea! I also want to thank everyone who stopped by to read any of my posts and especially those that commented! I really enjoy getting to know you through your comments.

Here’s a recap of A to Z in case there was one you missed. Looking forward to next year!

I agree about having the prompts. It was kind of a fun way to kick start a post.

So awesome that you made it through the month. I’m going to continue making alphabetical entries as it comes to me but found myself quite overwhelmed and unable to do the challenge on the days assigned.

We made it! Hooray! You did some of the most inspiring work I’ve seen on a blog, and for that you have my sincere thanks and a glass of expensive champagne (or iced tea maybe?). Keep that artwork and the stories coming, I’m not going anywhere πŸ™‚

Such a fun and positive post – so great to see – and your posts were also so wildly different (rather than themed). Congrats for keeping it up and even though I am just popping in at reflection time, I am grateful I did! πŸ™‚

You have very thoughtful posts. You’re right, those ending letters are brutal! A good time to get creative.

Here’s my A to Z wrap-up post. I also have an End of Challenge book giveaway going on for either contemporary romance or contemporary YA.

It’s funny, now that’s it’s over, a part of me misses it. Granted, it’s a small part, but yeah, I miss it. Congrats for finishing it up!

    Congratulations on completing the challenge.

Like you I was a last minute entrant but I’m glad I did. I know what you mean about having the letters to act as prompts. I’ve gotten into habit of posting certain types of posts on certain days (e.g. Book Reviews on a Tuesday, Film Reviews on a Saturday) which is kind of like a prompt for myself because there are only about two days each week when I have to come up with something without a ‘prompt’. πŸ™‚
