I am continuing with the 30 Day Colouring Challenge from The Daily Marker. Today is Day 5. I went in to my colouring book stash and grabbed one that I bought the last time I was in Disney World. It is a Tinker Bell book. I have had it for years, as you can see some of my little cousins have already gotten to it. There are scribbles on Tink’s face.
The Tinker Bell I know is from the Peter Pan movie. She is in love with Peter so she follows him around every where and gets jealous when Wendy comes into the picture. It looks like Tink has let Wendy have Peter and is moving on with her life. She has even made some friends. I have no idea who these other fairy girls are.
I forgot how easy it is to colour with crayons. I was able to colour several pictures in a short amount of time. I got a little bored with the Tink pictures though, so I decided to spice it up a bit. Tink couldn’t have spent all these years mooning over Peter. She must have done something with her life…like getting into the music biz perhaps?
At this point, I took a colouring break to get up and do laundry or something. I left the colouring book out. Big mistake! A little while later, I heard hubby giggling to himself. I came over to see what was so funny. Hubby had gotten into my colouring book and I saw a whole new side of Tink.
This is Hubby’s title for his Tinker Bell Series….
Very funny. Maybe Tink’s new friends aren’t the greatest of influences.

Nice! My older niece is still big into the whole fairy business and Tinkerbell is the ringleader. I don’t get it myself, but whatever floats your goat I guess. 🙂

I was never a Tinker Bell fan. I thought she was snotty, lol. I needed a colouring book though, when you gotta colour, you gotta colour!

Oh I get that! I’m not above helping my nieces color on their kid menus when we go out to eat. 🙂
Not sure if you could find them locally, but I’m rather fond of Creative Haven’s coloring books. They’ve got some great “grown up” books that have smaller spaces and slightly more unusual designs, including a steampunk book. I get them at Michaels.

YES!!! Love them! I have the steampunk one…two of them actually haha! I’m trying to find the paisley onea nd the fanciful faces.. I might give up and get them on Amazon though. I get the free samples from Dover, those are fun too.

Aww yeah!!! Thank you!

I’ve just re-discovered doodling too. I bought a book called ‘642 Things to Draw’ and you just draw whatever is nominated on each page. Challenging!

This post totally made me laugh. Tink has a wild side, LOL!

I’m glad you liked it, lol. I had to share it. It’s not every day your husband goes to town in a Tinker Bell colouring book of all things! 🙂

Your Hubby is so funny! and Tink cooperated!

Great post! And tell your husband I said “Bravo!”
I’m not into Tinker Bell and never have been. The best part of Tinker Bell, in my book, is when she hovers over the castle just before the fireworks show at park closing.
