This is the Share Your World Challenge. If you missed the last couple of weeks, more information can be found at Cee’s Photography. Essentially, four questions are asked every week and you have to answer them. Simple and fun! (Thanks Cee!)
Do you prefer ketchup or mustard?
Ketchup for regular fries…sweet potato fries are too good all by themselves. Mustard is ok for sandwiches, but not yellow mustard!! It has to be Dijon or honey mustard
If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
It would have to be a comedy, not because my life is a riot, but because I’d feel bad for my viewers if it remained a depressing drama that wasn’t really that dramatic. I try to amplify the funny part of my situations, it’s a survival mechanism I guess, so a movie of my life would reflect that. There would be a lot of imagination and self-commentary….kind of like the TV show “Scrubs”. There might be some animated segments thrown in there too…..think “Student Bodies” style. It was a Montreal, teenager sitcom, so most of you probably have no idea what I’m talking about, do you?
If you could be given any gift what would it be?
This one is open to interpretation. I’d like to be given a winning lottery ticket. Preferably one that gives you a nice chunk of money every week for the rest of your life.
For potlucks or parties do you cook it yourself, buy from a grocery store, or pay for catering?
I try to avoid these. Lots of people and lots of good food is a bad place for me to be. For potlucks (if I go) I usually make something…and it’s almost always dessert. The last potluck I went to was one put on for the residents of my building. I went into the lobby where it was being held, dropped off the goodies I made and high-tailed it out of there! As a result, I’ve forever lost the nice Christmas plate I put my treats on 😦
I’ve never thrown a party before…for a lot of reasons. Mainly because my place is too small for a party, I hate cooking, can’t afford catering and I’m not a fan of crowds, haha.
Bonus question: Â What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last Week: My New York City trip. I think I needed the change of scenery. I’m grateful to my sis-in-law’s boyfriend for letting us stay the week at his place. It made the trip possible.
This Week: I’m meeting a friend for lunch on Friday. The universities around here give us Friday afternoons off during the summer. This is the last one before the fall routine starts.
