This is the Share Your World Challenge hosted by Cee’s Photography. It’s been a while, but I’m getting back into things. I’ve really missed this one. The rules are the same. Four questions are asked every week and you have to answer them. Simple and fun! (Thanks Cee!)
Here is week 49!
What is your preferred hot drink: coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate, or other?
There is no competition here. Definitely coffee. It was an acquired taste but, coffee time in the morning is sacred for me now.
What was your favorite toy as a child . . . and now?
I think I’m going to have to say Barbie was my favourite as a child, although Puppy in My pocket was a close second. I had a couple friends I could play with, but mostly I played with my sister. We had a coffee table that also served as a trunk. It was FULL of Barbies, their clothes and accessories. I don’t dare say how many I had! This trunk is still at my parents’ place. It seems a shame to part with so many good memories. I had a big imagination with these dolls. Each one had her own name, career, best friend and hobby. Only my favourite ones had boyfriends though. I still remember all this made up information too. Funny what the brain retains huh?
Winter Sports Barbie (1994) was my favourite. I named her Karen.
My favourite toy today is probably my iPad. I use my laptop more often, but I associate it with work, so I don’t count it as a toy. I use my iPad to fool around on Pinterest and get doodle ideas.
Candy factories of the entire world have become one and will now be making only one kind of candy. Which kind, if you were calling the shots?
I usually look at chocolate as a separate entity from candy, so I’ll say the chocolate factories and still doing their thing and it’s the candy factories that are wrecking havoc. In this case, I’d have them make Cherry Blasters. They are my favourite.
Would you want $100,000 right now or $120,000 in a year (tax Free)?
I’ll wait a year for more money. It’ll give me time to figure out what to do with it.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week: I finished Christmas shopping. Now it’s time to wrap and celebrate 🙂
This week: I am grateful my boss is away for the week. She is more than just my boss. I am grateful to have someone like her around, but she asks a lot of me. I am on sick leave from work, but she keeps calling me and asking me to do things. When I say no, she tries to talk me into doing it anyway. Her being away means no phone calls and finally sick leave without having to do work.
